Cool! I’m so glad you found my blog, because that means now I can read yours. It’s always nice to find like-minded people. Have you ever heard of Viridian Design Movement? It’s really, really interesting reading. One of his pages details how to be ruthless in sorting through your personal possessions. My husband and I plan to take that approach next time we move (especially since our next move will likely be overseas) and we employ a lot of the Viridian ideals in the way we approach the things we introduce into our home.

Wow! That’s really exciting. Doesn’t it seem like a thousand changes rush in all at the same time? And then everything levels out and it feels like nothing is happening. I think for us, we’re in the “nothing” phase. After the last two years (getting married/buying a house), we’ve started settling down into the routine of life. The most exciting thing to happen is getting a cat.

I look forward to following your new adventures! Congrats on change!

I was sicker than a dog all weekend, and the past two days as well. I slept like a log for most of it, but for the rest? I cooked, baked, and cleaned. It was a terribly productive thing for when one is sick, but it was the ONLY thing that was making me feel better!

I feel that I should not be expected to function normally in the depths of winter. I want to hibernate. Not drive to work in a snow storm. And nesting sounds particularly appealing at this point. I miss being at home.
